Asynchronous Sharing Prototype

Over a handful of days in November 2018, I worked on a prototype for a team game project about loneliness. The prototype tests the feasibility of loading from and generating seeds, representing how togetherness doesn’t require synchronous presence, existing even when people are alone in the moment. The prototype didn’t exactly draw enough interest to properly test the idea, and although the seeds were intentionally small enough to be shared via tweets, they probably could have used some degree of encryption to make them less easy to manipulate. That certainly would have been a valuable learning experience, too.
