Internship | Moving Brands

After university, I spent a handful of months in 2019 interning as a Junior Creative Technologist at the design studio Moving Brands. While there, I worked in a number of teams on different projects, generally generating ideas and developing small, interactive prototypes in Unity.

While I can’t share all of my work from Moving Brands, their website thankfully shows snippets of the interactive prototyping I worked on while the studio designed the brand identity for the BBC’s smart assistant, ‘Beeb.’ This was a small Unity prototype that responded to clicks, mouse gestures and preset animation triggers, by moving rectangular grids of various colours and densities in a variety of ways.

I enjoyed my time at the studio, with its lovely people and friendly vibe, and it was really satisfying to be working on experimental prototypes for such a variety of projects.
